Thank you for your inquiry regarding membership. Enclosed is a membership brochure and application for Associate membership in CRMA.
CRMA--the only association devoted to general-interest city and regional consumer magazines--is by any measure a growing force in the publishing industry. We begin the year with a record number of members, who in turn have collectively increased their circulation, their professional staffs, their purchasing budgets, their number of ad pages, their subscription renewals, the upscale demographics of their readership and their overall revenues, despite the economy.
This year's plans call for implementation of our newly adopted strategic plan, our fifth annual Publishers' Survey, additional common research programs, further growth in CRMA membership, expanded promotion of city and regional magazines, and continued expansion of our group purchasing and service programs.
The CRMA Board of Directors and member magazines value the support of our Associate members. We periodically profile Associate members in the e-newsletter and we encourage member magazines to support our Associate members. The Annual Conference Committee offers a unique exhibit opportunity, at a discount, for Associate members as well.
