CRMA Gold Book

Top Ten Restaurants in More Than 80 North American Cities

"Who better to give diners the inside information on local restaurants than the local magazines that write about them," said Susie Love, president of the CRMA. "Member publications provide a unique perspective on the best establishments in each area - one we felt travelers would appreciate."

The 2005 edition of the pocketable 176-page guide reviews over 800 restaurants. Each city or region listing begins with a brief description of the reviewing magazine then presents the top 10 dining options in alphabetical order, including a brief description of the cuisine, location, reservations requirements and credit card information.

"Other restaurant guides present a frustratingly long list of options. Business travelers, in particular, told us they just wanted to see their 'best' options so they could make a quick decision and not risk disappointment," said Jim Fitzpatrick, publisher of San Diego Magazine and chair of CRMA's marketing committee.

CRMA member publications are located in virtually every major market in the United States, Canada and Mexico; and have a combined circulation of 4.6 million readers who have over $115 billion in disposable income. CRMA magazines represent a powerful medium for advertisers seeking to reach an affluent, upscale consumer audience.
